Yankee Type Class Jumping Behavior in the Works of Ursula Kroeber

Heroes in novels / stories of Ursula Kroeber, always try to go upper, higher, above zero point, etc level.

They never try to stay where they are or never try to go lower than their present situations.

This is a Yankee type class jumping daydream.

Why is this so?

Because she is class gifted with an elit father in the beginning and after with an elit husband.

Even her master hero Shevek tries to jump his class. He could communicate with Earthers or Hains in Dispossessed, he knew them indirectly, but he went to Urras and communicated with Urrasers.

Her sorcerers are also class jumpers. They always find a king or a hegemoner to serve. They are informatic / cognitive proteleriat, i.e. they produce knowledge and consumes less than they produce, but they behave like power elites and serve them, like scientists and science-fiction writers in USA (firstly like Asimov).

This is so funny and so awful.

Nobody cares about Holywood movies made from her works. They are really awful. There is ‘Ghost in the Shell 1-2’ and Oshii, but look at her ‘Earthsea Tales’ anime: a child story.

Is a story of man learning sex, a child story?

She is a sexist / mascular too. All her woman heroes go upper classes by a man like real herself.
